GradeOrSell ("we", "us") is operated by Arts Artifacts. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. We keep it short on purpose.
What we collect
- Account data — your email address and a salted password hash when you register.
- Your collection — card names, prices and conditions you enter, so we can sync them across your devices when signed in.
- Card photos — when you use AI photo grading, the photo is sent to our server and to our AI provider (Anthropic) to identify and assess the card. Photos are processed in memory and are not stored on our servers after the assessment is returned.
- Usage counts — how many lookups and photo grades you've made this month (to enforce plan limits).
- Payment — handled entirely by Stripe (web) or Apple (iOS app). We never see or store card numbers. We store a customer/subscription reference and your plan tier.
What we don't do
- No advertising, no ad tracking, no selling or sharing your data with data brokers.
- No third-party analytics SDKs in the app.
Service providers
Render (hosting, USA) · Stripe (payments) · Apple (App Store purchases) · RevenueCat (subscription status for the iOS app) · Anthropic (AI photo analysis) · eBay and PriceCharting (market price data — your search text is sent to them; no personal data is).
Retention & deletion
Your account and collection are kept until you delete your account, which you can do at any time from inside the app (Sign in → Membership → Delete account) or by emailing Art@artsartifacts.com. Deletion removes your account, collection and usage records immediately. Payment records are retained by Stripe/Apple as required by law.
Children
GradeOrSell is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Security
All traffic is encrypted (HTTPS). Passwords are hashed with a per-user salt. Access to production systems is limited to the operator.
